About Grade School Homeschool Program
For the Charlotte Mason philosophy, Form 1 (Grades 1 to 3) is a foundational time where the children learn the habit of attention and develop the basic CM skill of oral narration, which is also the foundation for written composition in later years.
In Form 2 (Grades 4 to 6), the student increases in skill and starts to add written narration, dictation, and grammar. These, among others, strengthen the child’s communication and analytical skills.
If you are starting the Charlotte Mason method for a child in higher elementary grade levels, we encourage you to get in touch with us so we can make adjustments for him or her to develop the prerequisite skills.
